BDSMsingles.com is a long standing website which, as its name would suggest, aims to bring singles together who have alternative sexual preferences. While many other sites in this category cater for daters with any and all types of fetishes, BDSMsingles almost exclusively focuses on the BDSM community. As such, you will find at BDSMsingles thousands of “dominants” and “submissives” looking for their perfect match. The site is also couple friendly, so if you’re looking to add a new dimension to your sex life, here would be good place to start.

Sign-up at BDSMsingles is a piece of cake, just input your email and away you go. There is no need to even confirm that your email address is valid, which is convenient but could mean a high volume of fake or inactive profiles, although this is something that we weren’t able to verify.

Once you’ve registered you can get a feel for the community at BDSMsingles and check out some kinky photos, but that’s about it. Whereas we have come to expect at least a certain amount of free usage in this category, BDSMsingles’ basic membership is very limited. Luckily, they offer a great 3 day trial at just $7.95.

Once you’ve paid up you’ll be able to start properly interacting with the other users and participating in the chat rooms and forums. Although there may not be as many members at BDSMsingles as there are at sites such as Alt.com and BDSM.com, there is generally someone online and up for chatting with you, although given the small membership database the chances they are close to you geographically are slim.

We have to admit we were slightly put off by BDSMsingles’ pricing plan. For one, their prices are more expensive than other competitors offering a superior service. Secondly, their subscriptions automatically renew (careful here with the 3 day free trial). Finally, although the 12 month subscription special deal that appears as soon as you sign up is very good value for money, we didn’t appreciate being pressured into making a purchase decision before having been able to properly check out the service. Furthermore, we got the feeling they were advertising “a lack of men and too many women” at BDSMsingles.com according to our details and preferences we had entered on sign up rather than the reality of the website.

Overall, we would recommend those specifically into BDSM check this site out, and maybe even sign up for the free trial if you’re intrigued. However, in our opinion there are far better alternatives out there which should defiantly be considered before any purchase decision is made.
