I Want U Alternative offers users a range of features that help to make membership of this site particularly exciting. Members can take advantage of a range of search functions (with pre-determined searches, custom searches and automatic searches available) to find the perfect match within the thousands of profiles featured on the I Want U network. Once you have found members you would like to chat to, you can make use of a range of great communication features, such as a great mailbox feature, instant messaging and webcam chat. We were particularly impressed by the mobile messaging feature that allows members to chat with other users whilst on the go. Members can also get to know other users through the site’s popular chatrooms, adult dating forums and by contributing to the online magazine hosted by the site. If, despite all of these features, members still haven’t found a good match using the site, there’s also a fantastic ‘Aphrodite Matching Service’ that hooks up members on the site based on the information provided on their profiles. Overall, we were pretty impressed by the features offered by I Want U Alternative!
As with many sites that feature lower down in our top ten in this category, one of the major factors of difference is the price at which these services are offered to members. In order to take advantage of the full complement of features of the site (and for an indefinite period of time) however, members must subscribe to one of the payment plans available on I Want U. The site offers VIP and VIP Select membership plans, ranging between $50 and $60 per quarter. At around $20 a month, therefore, this site definitely comes out as one of the most expensive sites we have reviewed in this category – something that will almost certainly put some users off buying into the I Want U Alternative dating experience.
Although the I Want U Alternative site is part of a group of successful dating sites, and has a collection of good features, we were a little disappointed by the pricing structure adopted by the site. With this site costing almost double the fee charged by other sites in this market, we can’t help but feel that the charges aren’t really justified. Whilst we would definitely suggest our readers check this site’s free membership option out, we would also recommend our readers check out the reviews for other sites in our top ten in this category to find sites that offer better value for money.
