FetLife was built as a kink social networking site, NOT a dating site.

You cannot search by gender
You cannot search by sex
You cannot search by people in your area

And it was designed like that for a reason!

That you bill it as a BDSM or Fetish Dating site, is completely wrong.

I would recommend trying it, but NOT as a dating site.

In summary, I would recommend Fetlife to a friend.

As a young female, it is often hard to find what I am looking for in terms of a kinky partner, but I have found that fetlife makes that a bit easier. If you know how to navigate the site, you will find a lot of amazing features without even having to open your wallet. I normally wouldn't recommend paying for a dating site but honestly I am proud to support such a good site.

One thing that I love about fetlife is how secure it is. You have to register in order to view other members profiles. I have been on other sites and talked to other friends I have made in the community, and privacy isn't always something you find on kinky dating sites.

It's also has an amazing collection of photos, you can find everything from pictures of kinky sex to artistic images and so much more. You have to support fetlife in order to watch videos, but that isn't that big of a deal when there is so much else you can do for free.
